The new HTC Droid ERIS is a rebranded model of HTC Tattoo. Compiled with lots of enviable set of features, it stands high to battle with other Android smartphones. It comes in a very simpler design and slimmer looks which is quite different from Motorola Droid smartphone. Powered by Android OS, it is the second Verizon Wireless' Google Android phone next to Motorola Droid.


There is no physical QWERTY keyboard but it offers onscreen keyboard that also change according to the position of the mobile phone. The device offers multi-touch support in web browser and photo gallery that means users can zoom by pinching their fingertips and by double-tapping the screen. There is also a digital camera for taking high-quality pictures and videos. Apart from its imaging tool, you can enjoy listening to your favourite songs via the music player on the move.


Many advanced features of the HTC Droid ERIS smartphone that you will find include Bluetooth, voice dialing, Verizon visual voice mail, a calculator, a calendar, a speakerphone an alarm clock, Wi-Fi, PC syncing, USB mass storage, and a voice recorder. And yet it offers accessing to the full set of Google applications like Google Maps, YouTube, Google Calendar, Google search (with voice), and Google Talk.
